From the app

Without the app
Write to hello@alongkeep.com and give the phone number you sign in with. We confirm the request with that phone number before acting on it.
What is removed
Your account: your phone number, your name, your language and your email address if you added one. Every place where you are the only admin, with everything in it: its areas, things, covers, dates, documents and history, and the people you added there. Reminders about those places stop, in the app and on WhatsApp.
Places you share
- If a place has another admin, it stays with them. Your access ends, and what you added to it stays, because it belongs to the place. Your entry in that place’s People stays as the admins wrote it, shown as having no app access, so they can still see who had which thing and when.
- If you are the only admin of a place that other people use, the app asks you to make one of them an admin before you delete your account. If you do not, the place is deleted with your account, and the people who use it lose it too.
Deleting one item
To remove one thing, document or date without deleting your account, delete it in the app. It is removed from our live systems within 30 days.
When
Reminders stop as soon as you ask. The account is removed from our live systems within 30 days. If you sign in again before then, the deletion is cancelled and nothing is lost.
After the account is removed, copies in backups are overwritten within 30 days, and server logs are kept for up to 30 days.
If someone else added you
If you are in someone’s People and do not use AlongKeep, ask them to remove you, or write to hello@alongkeep.com with your phone number and we will remove it.
